The Seiko 5 Sports FTC Limited Edition HDB012 commemorates FTC’s 40th anniversary with an orange dial inspired by San Francisco’s signature color, paying tribute to the brand’s hometown. Its gold-colored stainless-steel case frames a dimensional dial layout with the FTC logo at 6 o’clock, distinguishing this anniversary edition from the black-and-gold HDB011. Measuring 42.5mm in diameter, the watch features a unidirectional rotating bezel, Hardlex crystal, and LumiBrite on the hands and indexes. The automatic caliber 4R36 delivers approximately 41 hours of power reserve, manual winding capability, and a day/date display. The see-through screw caseback carries the FTC logo, “FTC 40TH ANNIVERSARY” marking, “LIMITED EDITION” engraving, and an individual serial number. Limited to 663 pieces exclusively for Japan and the United States, the HDB012 includes an additional black nylon strap, a special-edition box inspired by an FTC apparel graphic, and an original watch cloth.
